Due to the possibility of Coconut oil in soaps causing skin irritations and drying, I usually avoid using Coconut oil in soaps unless it is emphasized with its cleaning property. Palm Kernel, instead, is my favorite substitute for rich lather, strong cleansing ability, hard and creamy soap bar; yet it’s much milder and gentler on your skin so it doesn’t feel dry after wash.
